About Annie

Becoming a real estate appraiser wasn’t on my mind while growing up on a big dairy farm in northeastern Vermont, however today it is my passion. I entered the real estate field in the early 1980’s. I was home with an infant looking for an occupation I could do part time while raising my kids. It was early in the 2000’s when I decided to make the transition from real estate sales to real estate appraisals. It wasn’t easy taking the many classes and exams, then years of training required to become an appraiser but I have never questioned the investment. Farm life with hardworking parents and a big caring family gave me an appreciation for the value of the land and small town life. Earning a degree in plant science and being married to a logging contractor added to my understanding of the natural landscape. Being active in real estate sales keeps my knowledge of houses, condos and small multi-unit properties current. I am a thorough, reliable and experienced appraiser familiar with the varying markets as they ebb and flow, ready to offer my expertise with a smile.
